Dr Vinodha Reddy K is joining Aster WF as the HOD of Surgical Gastroenterology, Minimally Invasive Surgery and Bariatric Surgery. He has 30 years of surgical experience both in India and abroad (UK). He is a MBBS graduate from Bangalore Medical College, where he also completed his postgraduate MS in general surgery in 1995. He went on to complete DNB (General Surgery) and FRCS from Edinburg, UK. Dr Reddy, later migrated to the UK and trained in Gastrointestinal, Hepatobiliary, Pancreatic, Advance Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery and eventually worked as a consultant in the UK-NHS hospitals. He then trained and earned his Diploma in Advance Laparoscopic Surgery from Louis Pasture University, Strasburg, France. He was also sponsored by the NHS-UK to attend an extensive Bariatric Surgery training program in the one of the world’s best bariatric surgical units in Belgium and thus, gained his Fellowship in Bariatric Surgery in 2009. Dr Reddy, returned to India in 2011 where he worked as a consultant surgical gastroenterologist and bariatric surgeon at Manipal Hospital, Bangalore for the next 12 years. He has vast experience in all forms of complicated Gastrointestinal, Hepatobilliary and Pancreatic Surgery, wherein majority of the surgeries were Laprascopic or Robotic in nature. He has performed innumerable Bariatric surgeries of all types, including Robotic Weight Reduction surgeries and Revision Bariatric surgeries. He is also considered to be one of the pioneers in Bariatric Surgery. It's been three great years of wellness with Dr. Vinodha Reddy. He has been very supportive all these days when his treatment never failed to satisfy us. I should also be grateful for the hospital for their esteemed services. I have never waited more than 5 minutes for my consultation. I am very glad to recommend the doctor.
He was perfect and clear while detecting the issues and a detailed interpretation was given about the cause and treatment. As expected, the results were promising. But due to emergency surgery, the doctor was unavailable at OPD during my schedule. Hence I had to wait around four hours for consultation. Some sort of emergencies can be understood but waiting for long hours being a patient is difficult. A cautious and well planned schedule may help to overcome these circumstances I guess.

Or let him remove those slots. He comes and tells nothing is there and gave vitamin tablets. Just in 2 mins we had to come out.. Nothing he talks about.When asked about what caused this. He says Nothing to be afraid of, just use tablets.* ** *** ******* *** ********** ** ** ******* ** ********* ******I will not recommend him. I consulted the doctor in manipal hospital airport road for gastro reflex and gastritis problem and i have undergone hiatus hernia repair surgery in Jan4th,2016.****** *** ******* ****** ****** ******* ******* *** *** ******* ******* ********* *** immediately from the next day i suffered from loose motion for more than 2years,***** ** ***** *** ***** *** he keep changed the medicine for every 3months,*** ** *******i lost weight of nearly 12kgs and become lean.
And the gastric problem still suffering.
And i am vomiting the food morning 8 or 9am which i have taken previous night 8pm,later it was found after 2years in endoscopy done in different hospital that large amount of food get struck in the food pipe** ******* ***** *** ** * ******* ** *** *********Even after 2.5years i am still suffering lot***** ***** * **** *** *** * ** *** ********
